Restrict Gear respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it, who we share it with and the choices available to you when you visit restrictgear.com, place an order, contact us or enter a promotion.
Who we are
Restrict Gear is the controller of personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, email maleplaytoys@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, email address, telephone number and billing or delivery address.
- Order information, including the products ordered, selected options, measurements and delivery details. Payment providers process payment-card information; Restrict Gear does not receive your full card details.
- Messages and customer-service correspondence.
- Giveaway or promotion entries, including your name, email address and any separate marketing preference.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, device or browser information, pages visited and cookie data.
How we use your information
We use personal information to process and deliver orders, provide customer service, respond to enquiries, maintain and improve our website, prevent fraud, meet legal and accounting obligations, and administer giveaways or promotions. Our lawful bases may include performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, and consent where required.
Email marketing
We send marketing emails only where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits. Giveaway entry is not conditional on agreeing to marketing. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by contacting us. Withdrawing marketing consent will not affect your giveaway entry or an existing order.
Giveaways and promotions
If you enter a Restrict Gear giveaway, we use your entry details to administer the promotion, check eligibility, select and contact the winner, and keep records needed to demonstrate that the promotion was run fairly. We do not use giveaway details for email marketing unless you make a separate, optional choice to receive it.
Unsuccessful giveaway entries will normally be deleted or anonymised within 90 days after the prize has been awarded, unless a longer period is required to resolve a query or meet a legal obligation. Winner and promotion-administration records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary.
Who receives your information
We may share information only as necessary with service providers that help us run the store and fulfil orders, including our ecommerce platform, payment providers, email and marketing services, hosting and IT providers, and delivery companies. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators or authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards required by data-protection law.
How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide products and services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, subject to keeping a minimal suppression record so that we respect your choice.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential store functions, security, analytics and, where permitted, marketing. You can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie controls available on the site and through your browser settings.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, object to certain processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email us at the address above. We may need to verify your identity.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

We may update this notice when our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page with its updated date.
